Coming back...

I was recently inspired to revive my blog, blow off the dust, and continue posting about my journey through life. I considered making a completely new blog, but I did not want to lose the history that has been woven into this site. I spent an hour or so going back through and reading all my immature thoughts from years past. It is so crazy to see myself from a different perspective, yet it shows me how much I have grown...and how much I have not. My hope is to use this blog to keep others up to date on my college experiences, but, even more so, it is for me. I hope that it will become a display of circumstances and experiences that I can use to look back through time...and see God working, molding, crafting my life into a picture of His glory.

Well, I just found out from my mom that we are going to get an official day off tomorrow!!! YES!!!!!!!!!! A break! I'm very excited now, if you couldn't tell. :)

This week has been yet another crazy one. Lots of things going on. I found out Wednesday morning that my grandpa will be retiring as of July 30. I was pretty shocked when I first heard the news and it took awhile for the news to sink in. Of course, naturally, my first question was, "Will you still be able to marry me?". I had asked him before, but I just wanted to confirm. :) Ever since I was a little girl I've always imagined my wedding being performed my him and I wasn't about to let that dream go.

I know that this was rather short, but I think I'm going to go for now. I hope you all have a wonderful night and STAY WARM!!!!! Post later (Lord willing)

So far.........

Ok, ok. I know its been awhile since I've posted a real post, so I'm typing one right now.

School has been keeping me pretty busy, along with my different responsibilities at church. Things have been pretty crazy around here and I can't believe that its already almost February! Time sure does fly.

Things are going well here. Maintaining a regular schedule with school, church, piano, workouts, and such. Plus, getting ready for the Mystery Drama in February. It looks like fun, but I still have yet to memorize my lines.

Its nice to have snow for a change, but I'm afraid my body hasn't quite adjusted to the low temperatures yet. I love the snow, though, so I'm sure I'll get used to the cold fast.

Its seems like there are a lot of changes going on at the moment. Not just in life, but in myself. I guess thats what to be expected, though. Its part of growing up. Although, I find myself wishing once in awhile for the times I had as an 8 year old. Ah, those good old days. Back then life seemed so simple. Then you hit your teenage years and BAM! hello world. Thankfully, though, the Lord is always near and obviously has a plan for my life. What that plan is, is waaaayyyy beyond me, but I know that I can trust Him to take me through.

Ok, so Ty is over and we decided to make some playdough. haha, I think we broke the record for the world's longest time period of playing with playdough. We did it for about 4 hours. It was fun! Anyways, here are some things that we made. haha, please don't be scared. :)^ You know it!^
