So far.........

Ok, ok. I know its been awhile since I've posted a real post, so I'm typing one right now.

School has been keeping me pretty busy, along with my different responsibilities at church. Things have been pretty crazy around here and I can't believe that its already almost February! Time sure does fly.

Things are going well here. Maintaining a regular schedule with school, church, piano, workouts, and such. Plus, getting ready for the Mystery Drama in February. It looks like fun, but I still have yet to memorize my lines.

Its nice to have snow for a change, but I'm afraid my body hasn't quite adjusted to the low temperatures yet. I love the snow, though, so I'm sure I'll get used to the cold fast.

Its seems like there are a lot of changes going on at the moment. Not just in life, but in myself. I guess thats what to be expected, though. Its part of growing up. Although, I find myself wishing once in awhile for the times I had as an 8 year old. Ah, those good old days. Back then life seemed so simple. Then you hit your teenage years and BAM! hello world. Thankfully, though, the Lord is always near and obviously has a plan for my life. What that plan is, is waaaayyyy beyond me, but I know that I can trust Him to take me through.

Hola!

Hey everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I sure know I did. I received lots of nice presents that I am enjoying very much. I can't believe that it is already almost the new year. It has gone so fast. This year has probably been the craziest one of my life! So many things that have happened and changed. I guess, though, that that is just a part of growing up. I feel like I've really grown in the Lord over this last year and I'm so thankful for the blessings He's bestowed upon me. My faith in Him has most certainly grown and I am so thankful for the people in my life who have helped with that. Lots of you have made such a big impact on my life and I don't know what I'd do without you.

Well, my grandparents, from Michigan, are down 'till Thursday and then we're leaving for Tennessee to have our Christmas with the rest of the Michigan fam. (We're celebrating at my dad's 2nd oldest brother's house. My uncle. Him and my aunt live in Tennessee.)

Ok, well today is finally the day of the Christmas musical. I had practice yesterday and then today we have not only one, but two practices and then the final performance. Its going to be one busy (not to mention tiring) day. I just hope all this hard work pays off. Some prayers would be might nice. :) My voice is still not what I would like it to be, but as long as it holds up for everything I will be happy. Thankfully my solo is rap and not like actually singing, otherwise that could get messy.

Thanksgiving

Good afternoon everyone! How are you all doing? Good I hope. Things are going good here. My dad and the boys are putting up our Christmas lights outside and I'm kinda being lazy for a little while.

Thanksgiving went well. Busy, busy, busy of course. Lots of good food, fun with the family, and just a time to be thankful. All though, I guess every day is a time to be thankful.

Well, the musical is slowly drawing near. Its less then a week away now. yikes! It should prove to be quite interesting. I hope that it will all pull together by Friday. I think we're going to throw a few extra rehearsals in.

Well, just thought I'd post. Not much happening here. Some of the guys from youth group are over, so its a little noise. They crack me up. If you ever need a good laugh, just call over some of the guys. They're the best.

While they inhabit our basement, my mom and I are watching The Lake House. It seems good so far, but really confusing. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Tomorrow is the youth rally and I can't wait to see how that turns out. I can't picture Graham Road, but I'll probably recognize it when I see it. Of course one thing that makes it even better is the fact that a certain person will be present. hehe, I can't wait! I hope it all goes smoothly.

Fall Colors

Ah, the colors of fall. They are simply beautiful. We have our wonderful Creator to thank for that. I marvel at what an artist He is.

Well, the weeks are starting to fill up and fast. I can't believe that it's already November! I was just starting to get used to October. Oh well. :) Life will go on.

I finally got to rake leaves! Yay! I was invited to Ross and Twila's to help them with their leaves and of course I accepted. How could I pass up such a fun opportunity? I don't know why, but I absolutely love to rake leaves. It's the bomb.

Tonight I'm babysitting an adorable little 1 year old, so that should be fun. I hope I do a good job. I've never babysat him before, but the times I have been with him, he seemed like a pretty easy child. Hopefully all goes well.
