Hola!

Hey everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I sure know I did. I received lots of nice presents that I am enjoying very much. I can't believe that it is already almost the new year. It has gone so fast. This year has probably been the craziest one of my life! So many things that have happened and changed. I guess, though, that that is just a part of growing up. I feel like I've really grown in the Lord over this last year and I'm so thankful for the blessings He's bestowed upon me. My faith in Him has most certainly grown and I am so thankful for the people in my life who have helped with that. Lots of you have made such a big impact on my life and I don't know what I'd do without you.

Well, my grandparents, from Michigan, are down 'till Thursday and then we're leaving for Tennessee to have our Christmas with the rest of the Michigan fam. (We're celebrating at my dad's 2nd oldest brother's house. My uncle. Him and my aunt live in Tennessee.)

Ok, well today is finally the day of the Christmas musical. I had practice yesterday and then today we have not only one, but two practices and then the final performance. Its going to be one busy (not to mention tiring) day. I just hope all this hard work pays off. Some prayers would be might nice. :) My voice is still not what I would like it to be, but as long as it holds up for everything I will be happy. Thankfully my solo is rap and not like actually singing, otherwise that could get messy.

Thanksgiving

Good afternoon everyone! How are you all doing? Good I hope. Things are going good here. My dad and the boys are putting up our Christmas lights outside and I'm kinda being lazy for a little while.

Thanksgiving went well. Busy, busy, busy of course. Lots of good food, fun with the family, and just a time to be thankful. All though, I guess every day is a time to be thankful.

Well, the musical is slowly drawing near. Its less then a week away now. yikes! It should prove to be quite interesting. I hope that it will all pull together by Friday. I think we're going to throw a few extra rehearsals in.

Well, just thought I'd post. Not much happening here. Some of the guys from youth group are over, so its a little noise. They crack me up. If you ever need a good laugh, just call over some of the guys. They're the best.

While they inhabit our basement, my mom and I are watching The Lake House. It seems good so far, but really confusing. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Tomorrow is the youth rally and I can't wait to see how that turns out. I can't picture Graham Road, but I'll probably recognize it when I see it. Of course one thing that makes it even better is the fact that a certain person will be present. hehe, I can't wait! I hope it all goes smoothly.

Fall Colors

Ah, the colors of fall. They are simply beautiful. We have our wonderful Creator to thank for that. I marvel at what an artist He is.

Well, the weeks are starting to fill up and fast. I can't believe that it's already November! I was just starting to get used to October. Oh well. :) Life will go on.

I finally got to rake leaves! Yay! I was invited to Ross and Twila's to help them with their leaves and of course I accepted. How could I pass up such a fun opportunity? I don't know why, but I absolutely love to rake leaves. It's the bomb.

Tonight I'm babysitting an adorable little 1 year old, so that should be fun. I hope I do a good job. I've never babysat him before, but the times I have been with him, he seemed like a pretty easy child. Hopefully all goes well.

Home Sweet Home

Well, we just got back from the glorious state of Michigan, so that went well. Except, I got kinda sick. I have a full blown cold, but the worst part is that I lost my voice. Well, partly. Its kinda raspy. Oh well. Hopefully it will clear all up. I really don't like being sick.

Got school agian tomorrow, so hopefully that all goes well. I think our week is pretty normal, not much really going on. Friday we have the fall youth retreat, so that should be fun. It sounds like they have some good stuff planned for us.

Our romantic Lord

You know, last week in youth group I learned something I never knew before. Well, I kind of knew it, but it became more of a reality. In Proverbs, Proverbs 31:10 to be exact, it says, "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies." I thought that that was soooo cool. It goes to show how much of a romantic the Lord is. haha, come to think of it He kind of created romance. Thanks to my buddy Carl for sharing that verse in youth group. I knew you were good for something. hehe, just kidding. :)

Wow! I think that is the first thunderstorm we've had in awhile. Sure is wet out there. Today has been good. Nothing new really. Going to get my hair cut in like half an hour, so that will be nice. I think then we're going to clean church and then back home, I think. Hopefully that won't take too long. If we all work together it should go pretty fast. I hope. A normal Wednesday

Today seems to be a pretty good day. haha, I feel so giddy! I have no idea why. surprise, surprise. It seems really nice outside today and for once it's acutally warm! yes! Sunshine! Another day in my life

Oh, bbbuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so cold today. Did you know that it's only about 34 degrees above freezing?! haha. yeah. anyways, it's the beginning of another week. I think our's is pretty normal. Not really busy. My grandparents from Michigan came down on Thursday and stayed till Saturday, so that was nice. We won our soccer game 2-1. whhooooooooo!!!!!! It was really cold, but we warmed up after awhile. Thanks to Ty and Brittany for coming. I really enjoyed you guys being there. Last Friday we had our drama/choir class. We're putting on a Christmas Musical on December 1st. It should be a ton of fun. I can't wait! GUESS WHAT!?!?!?!?! I got one of the lead roles! I'm going to play the character of Ruth, the leader of the shepard kids. I even get to sing a solo! The twist on it though, is that I'm going to be singing a RAP solo. I couldn't believe it. My day

Ok, well, I thought it was about time I posted. Today was our first day of soccer, so that was interesting. We're the purple team and it's a really pretty lilac purple. I have the same coach that I did last year, plus I know all the girls. We won our first game, 1-0. WHHHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Fun, fun. I played fullback for the whole game, but subed for the last few minutes. We only had one sub, so it was pretty tiring, but lots of fun. I got to see that certain someone too. Now that was quite interesting. We kinda got into a water fight of sorts, so that was fun.
Tomorrow, we're going up to Warren to see my uncle preach at his first service, so that should be interesting. I haven't seen the inside of they're church yet, so I don't know what to expect.

Picnic Time!

I know I haven't posted for awhile, so I thought now would be a great time. Today was the Sunday School Picnic and that was a ton of fun! Good food, vintage baseball game, soccer, contests, songs, and devotions. Lots of fun. I won, believe it or not, the seed spitting contest. Ya, I was surprised too. Had some great fellowship going on and if you missed it, it was your loss.
Well, school starts in 2 days, so that should be interesting. With that also comes soccer. I'm kinda nervous, but I'm sure it will go fine. I'm anxious to find out who is on my team and who my coach is. Also, every Saturday, I get to see a certain someone, so I'm excited for that too.

Well, Niagara Falls was lots of fun. Really pretty, but at the same time, REALLY HOT! Besides that though we had a great time. Once my pictures get developed I'll have to post a few and show you guys the Falls.
Tonight seems to be a ton cooler then the past two nights, which is a nice change. Our a/c isn't working at all, so all the windows are open and the fans are flying. :)
Well, that certain someone is off on vacation tomorrow. :( We said our final goodbyes just a few minutes ago, but despite that I already miss him. I know that I should trust God with the whole thing and I'm really trying to, but its still hard sometimes. I would be most greatful if you guys would pray for me. I'd really like that.

Well hello

Well I thought that I'd post......finally. Last week was great! I had so much fun! I felt like I really grew through out the week. Closer to my friends, but most of all to God. The speaker really spoke to my heart. I feel like I've really grown in the last year and this past week was like a follow up for me to see if I'm doing what I had wanted to. The days were beautiful and really HOT, but that just made the water feel even better. I had a blast tubing! Elizabeth and I are official tubing partners. I brought home evidence my tubing experiences. :) I'll have to post a picture of it sometime. Everyone says that it looks like someone wearing lipstick kissed me. Ya. I was really tired when I got home, but I think I'm finally rested up. This week has been quiet, but it will soon pick-up again. Tonight Timmy is staying the night with Cuyler, so we'll have to go pick him up sometime tomorrow. Also I have to go in and help clean church, then in the evening I'm going to babysit. Inbetween stuff we also have to pack for Niagara Falls. I can't wait! We haven't been there in like 8 years. It should be fun. Oh, guess what! Well most of you already know this because you were there when it came, but for those of you who don't.....Friday(while we were still at camp) I got a letter from a certain someone. :) I was soooo excited! The only down thing was that he told me that he was going to be gone this week :(, BUT he's getting back on Friday! YAY! Hopefully I'll get to talk to him. Ok, enough of that. I best be going. Camp!!!!

Well I thought I'd post one last time before I go off to camp. I can't wait! Its going to be so much fun. The speaker is the same one that we had last year and he was REALLY good, so I can't wait to hear him again. It took me like 2 hours to pack, but I finally got it done. Yay! Tomorrow we are off bright and early at 9:00 a.m. Please, don't anyone bring starbursts. (long story) It would save us all a lot of trouble. :) I'm still waiting to talk to a certain someone and I'm really hoping I can before we leave tomorrow. Hello everyone. How are you doing? Hopefully well. Anyways, this has been a pretty good week.(not including that one person who, I might add, is coming home tomorrow! And that would not be Bobby) We sent Bobby on his way to camp Monday and then went to be evaluated. Guess what! I passed. Yay! It took awhile, but in between I got to hangout with Cassondra(I love that girl). Come to find out, Bobby and I took a COLLEGE level spanish this year. Hehe, no wonder it was so hard. :) I'm excited because I already have 3 highschool credits, which puts me in a good spot for the next few years. Today we went swimming at Emily's house, so that was fun. Good exercise. Tonight is Ty's party, which should be a blast. Sounds like a Hawaiian cook out kind of a thing. Lots of fun. Wow! We have had such a crazy week! I'll give you guys a recap of it.
Monday: My family and I went bowling with the Hembree family

Tuesday: Us kids got to ride on the fire truck in the parade and then that evening we went downtown to watch fireworks. (Which, by the way, were totally awesome! We were so close that the ashes were falling on us)

Wednesday: Was a pretty normal day. We had youth group in the evening, so that went well. I have to admit, I'm not a very good can crusher.

Thursday: My mom took us kids up to Patmos for the day. Wow! That was a blast! I think we packed on week into one day! Clint, Kristen, Bobby, Timmy, Katie, and I all rode the Banana. It took a few tries before we got the hang of it, but in the end we PEELED that banana. (hehe, right Kristen?) I really liked the speaker. I thought he did a great job. I got to see a few kids from last year, so that was interesting. Interesting how much a person can change in a year. It was a great day.

Friday: Well around noon I went to babysit for a lady at the Y. Her girls are soooo cute! We had a great time. That night we went to an Aeros game and Ty came along, so that was fun. The Aeros lost, but it was still a good game. Afterwards they had fireworks, so that was even better.

Today: We were home most of the day recharging from the week, so that was nice. We watched Glory Road tonight. That movie is really good! Right now I'm talking to people and soon will have to go to bed, so better go. Post later (Lord willing)

Northern Ireland

I just thought that I'd share some pictures of Northern Ireland with you guys. Its a really beautiful country. I went there, with my family, when I was about 3 years old and I hope to go back someday soon. Well, lets see. This week we have VBS and I think thats going well. Yesterday Bobby, Emily, and I had our drama, so that was fun. A little odd, but interesting.

Man! July is filling up so fast! After VBS is done we have one week free and then Bobby's off to camp. The week after that I go to camp and then the weekend after that we're going to Niagara Falls. It'll all be fun, but busy at the same time.

Today was a pretty normal day. I went into the library to work from 11 to 1, so that went well. I had to sign people up for the summer reading program which is fun, when there are people to sign up. I have to go back in tomorrow too, but this time I get to work on masks for the parade. That should be fun. After I got home I ate lunch and then took Copper for a walk/run. I think my sweat glands were broken because sweat was like pouring down my face. :p It felt good, though, to get my heart going. After I got back I finished a letter that I had started writing to Jason, played the piano for a bit, and then ate dinner. That has pretty much been my day so far. Well, today I went strawberry picking with Kristen A. That was quite interesting. I had a lot of fun. We got bored after awhile, so we started rhyming words. We were talking about the dumbest things. :) Lots of fun. Really. I know you're probably wondering about the title of this post. Its the name of the street that we had to drive on. We kept making fun of it, because its hard to pronounce. I think it sounds like a German chocolate. Anyways, tonight is the girls night out. Yay! I can't wait. Its going to be fun. Yesterday my brothers and I came over to my grandparents house to stay the night 'till Sunday. That's where I am right now. Yesterday my grandparents took the boys and I to Geauga Lake. I had a blast! We did the bumper cars, rode the little kid's roller coaster, went on the Haybailer, and the log ride. Then for some odd reason, Bobby wanted to go on the BIG roller coasters and he wanted me to come with him. I thought he was out of his mind. I've never really been on any of the really big coasters, so I didn't know if I would like them or not. Well first I wanted to go on the Double Loop, so Bobby, my grandpa, and I all went on that. That's the first time I've ever been on a loop. I had a blast! In the end Bobby and I went on almost all the coasters in the park(well Bobby went on most of them, I didn't go on any of the wooden ones). My head and stomach were kind of mixed-up by the time we were done. I had so many adrenaline rushes my head was spinning. One of my favorite rides is the Scrambler, but nobody in my family likes the spinning rides. I think my Aunt Krisi might be the only one. Right now the boys are walking around the neighborhood buying junk at garage sales. Oh, my parents are going to love that. After lunch we're going to go swimming at the Y, so that should be fun. I can't wait for Monday! It should be a fun girls night out. We haven't really done anything like that before. Should be interesting. Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

"You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footproints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?"

The Lord replied, "The years when you have seen only one set ot footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

I am TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We worked in the backyard ALL day! I had to haul cement blocks from the backyard up to the front yard, next to the garage. The hardest part was pulling them up the hill, but it wasn't too hard. Thankfully I had the wagon to help me. My mom also helped by pushing the wagon while I pulled. Yo amo mi madre. :) We also planted grass in the back corner where everything got torn up. It was really hot! A shower has never felt so good. I was all sticky, sweaty, smelly, dirty, and hot. I feel a lot better now. We've been camping out in our backyard for the past 3 days and I think its finally taking its toll on me. My sides are hurting from lying on the ground, it feels like I have huge bruises on my thighs. I guess I just have to toughen up. :) School ends Friday. YAY! I can't wait. Only 4 more days left. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend my dad's brothers,sister, and parents all came up with their families to help rebuild the retaining wall in our backyard. Becca, Hannah, and I camped out in a tent in the backyard with the boys next to us in another tent. My Uncle Ed also camped out back there with his son, my cousin, Sam. You know, I have not once ever camped out in my backyard. Isn't that sad? Anyways, I really enjoyed it. Today I feel really tired and my muscles hurt, but I have to say its really a beautiful day. Yesterday my mom, Aunt Crystal, Becca, and I all had to go watch some kids during a wedding. One of the babies, Abigail, attached herself to me, so I couldn't move five feet away or she would start howlin'. She is one of the cutest babies that I have ever seen! Tomorrow we get off of course, so thats nice. We get out of school June 2. YAY! I'm am so ready to be done with school. It'll be nice to wake up in the mornings and not have to do anything. Today I had to go to the dentist and have a filling. :( Well they gave me two doses of novacaine, so the left side of my mouth/cheek is totally numb. My mom said that I looked like I had a stroke, because the left side of my mouth was drooping. I had such a hard time talking. I think its finally starting to wear off. YAY!!!!! Wow. I've been doing a lot of that. I have to keep reminding myself that I have to hope in God and not in others. Lots of the time hoping in others just leads to disappointment, but hoping in God is very promising. It doesn't mean that we get what we hope for, but God still answers it one way or another. Maybe not the way we were thinking, but in His own way. That, my friend, happens to be the best way. I also keep remembering this verse.

WWWHHHHHHOOOOO

WHHHHOOOO! I finally got the internet back! YAY! Its been out for about a month. Lots has happened since then. We went up to Patmos last weekend and had a blast. We got up at 6:30am, had breakfast at 7am, and started working at about quarter till 8. Lots of fun. I shoveled mulch, spray painted a fence, burned cardboard, built scaffolding, played with cement (that was interesting), and did a few other things. I love hard work. Builds character. :) School is almost done! YAY! I can't wait for the summer. No more spanish! One thing I was disappointed about, though, was that I miss my championship soccer game. Oh ya, this season we were 5 and 1. That means we won five games and lost one. So the week before last we played one game and won, which meant that we had to play one more game in order to stay in first. We played our second game and WON! So last Saturday was our championship game. Bobby and I, along with one other girl, couldn't be there. Which meant that we didn't have any fullbacks (defense). In the end we won and are officially the champs. I was so excited! Well I best be going. I've got some more stuff to do. Post later (Lord willing)

Wow! I have not posted about my life in like forever! Lets see. We had our Ed Fair, my project was on minerals. I got a high review from my judge, so that's good. My cousins came down for the week since we had spring break the same week. I had soooooo much fun with them. We went to the mall on Tuesday and tried on prom dresses, just for fun. I had a blast! We also went bowling and to Chuck E. Cheese. I haven't been there in the longest time. Soccer started on the 1st and that's going pretty well. We won our first two games, but since we are in pre-season it doesn't count yet. My team is great. The guys crack me up! They are always doing something funny. Our team is like one big happy family. We love to tease, laugh, and mess around (not during games). Well the work weekend at Patmos is slowly approaching. I CAN'T WAIT! It's going to be fun. I love working hard, getting down and dirty.
